Reverand Mike Gutzler, Lead Pastor

Mike is lead pastor of Holy Trinity. He has a calling to introduce people to the inspiring message of Jesus, mentor the growth of a life of faith, and help individuals hear God’s calling for their unique lives. Mike has degrees from the University of Mary Washington, Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary and the Graduate Theological Union with additional Certifications in Islamic Studies and Arabic from the Graduate Theological Union and University of California, Berkeley. When Mike is not engaged in matters of faith and life he holds the position of Associate Professor of Religious Studies at George Mason University where he enjoys teaching courses as Bible as Literature, Introduction to African Religions, and Death and the Afterlife. Mike lives in Fairfax with wife Emma and their two children.
