Holy Trinity’s prayer and support ministry is staffed by our pastoral team and trained volunteers, augmented by support groups that meet at Holy Trinity.

Prayer Chain

Requests for prayers submitted to the Church office or a member of the pastoral team are forwarded to the Prayer Chain leader, who activates the Chain volunteers to engage in regular prayer as appropriate for the request. Prayers for those facing health or other difficulties also may be requested of the Congregation in general, which will be done through a bulletin announcement and in the worship service.

Visitation Team

The Holy Trinity Visitation Team is made up of trained volunteers who assist the pastoral team in visiting members who are shut-ins, living in care facilities, or experiencing a hospital stay.  Visitation volunteers pray with the member, inquire as to whether the member has any special needs or requests, and share Holy Trinity news with them. In-person visitation is on hiatus during the pandemic but telephone visitation is being done.

Pre-Marital Counseling

Couples planning to marry are offered the opportunity to meet with the Senior Pastor for a series of Pre-Marital Counseling sessions.

Other Pastoral Counseling

The Senior Pastor is available to provide short-term grief and other counseling and referrals to community-based counselors when there is a need for longer-term counseling.

Support Groups

Several organizations, including AA and Al-Anon, have offered regular group meetings at Holy Trinity for many years. The groups have been meeting online or in-person. Please contact the church office at office@holytrinityfallschurch.org for more details.
