Custodian — Holy Trinity Lutheran Church

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is seeking a part-time Custodian to help care for our church home. We are located at 3022 Woodlawn Avenue, Falls Church, VA, conveniently accessible via the Metrobus F60/61 line. This is a regular, part-time hourly position requiring 12–15 hours per week, with additional hours available for special events. The Custodian is responsible for keeping our building and grounds clean, safe, and welcoming — including regular interior cleaning, restroom maintenance, trash and recycling, floor care, and resupplying. Exterior duties include maintaining the appearance of our parking lots and memorial garden. The Custodian also assists with table and chair set-ups for special events and works closely with the Parish Administrator on scheduling and supplies.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of custodial experience, general knowledge of commercial cleaning products and equipment, the ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work on a ladder, and the ability to communicate effectively in English with staff and congregation members.
