Sept 5: Men’s Breakfast
Our Men's Breakfast group will be meeting on Saturday, September 5th, at 8:30 AM. From now on our new location will be the Silver Diner in Merrifield (8150 Porter Road, Falls Church, VA 22042). RSVPs are required in order to reserve table space, so please contact the church office at office@holytrinityfallschurch.org if you plan to attend. See you there for great food and fellowship!
Sept 12: WELCA Book Club
The WELCA Book Club will meet on Saturday, September 12th, in our Fellowship Hall. Breakfast buffet will start at 9 AM with book discussion to follow. Our book for September is "The Miniaturist" by Jessie Burton. It is an enchanting, beautiful and suspenseful novel set in 1686. Eighteen-year-old Nella Oortman arrives in Amsterdam to begin her marriage to a much older man, Johannes Brandt, an important merchant trader who gives Nella an elaborate dollhouse version of her new home. As she discovers the origin of its furnishings, she learns her husband’s dangerous secret. It’s a story of love and obsession, betrayal and retribution, appearance and truth. Sept 20: GWOH Power Packs
This year for God’s Work, Our Hands, we will once again be building Power Packs for Food for Others! Shop for items on your upcoming grocery trips and place donations in front of the altar. Then join us (wearing your Living Generously shirt) on Sunday, September 20th after worship as we build the packs! We need EVERYONE for this full congregational effort. See item list and more info.

Pull up a chair on Monday evenings at Northside Social for Theology on Tap! Pastor Mike is hosting an informal, open-floor discussion where no question is too big (or too small). Sept 26: Food for Others 5K & Fun Run
Ready to hit the ground running in the fight against hunger? Instead of our usual Octoberfest Fun Run at Holy Trinity, we will be participating in the Food for Others 5K & Fun Run on Saturday, September 26th at the PenFed Plaza at Tysons Corner Center. We have created a group called the HT Holy Rollers - sign up here! (Password: "HolyTrinity" with no space)
Additionally, we have started at HT Food for Others Sponsorship. Members have already dedicated $600--and HT will be sponsoring a pretzel/donut table at the Food for Others 5K. But what level of sponsorship can we get to all together?! Donate through our giving page under Food for Others fun run.
Oct 18: Fall Fest
Bring the whole family out for Fall Fest at Pastor Mike's house! Join us on October 18th from 5-8 PM for an evening packed with autumn fun. We’ll have the grill fired up and the fire pit glowing for delicious s'mores. Costumes are fully encouraged. See you there!
