Aug 23: Church Picnic & Potluck

The best Sunday of the summer is just around the corner! Join us on Sunday, August 23rd after worship (around 11:30 AM) as we head over to the Cherry Hill Park Pavilion for our annual Church Picnic & Potluck! This is the perfect chance to kick back, catch up, and enjoy some incredible food together. Don't come alone—invite a neighbor, or five, because the more, the merrier! We can’t wait to see you there for an afternoon of great food and even better company! PS - Don't forget to bring a dish, drink, or dessert to share!

Aug 29: Faith Day at Nats Park

The date for Faith Day at Nats Park has been changed! For anyone who has already purchased tickets, you will be contacted separately by the Nationals to see if you’d like to keep your date (August 8) or change to the new date (August 29).

You’re invited to join congregations from across the Metro D.C. Synod for Faith Day at Nationals Park: an evening of baseball, fellowship, and community connection. Come cheer on the Washington Nationals as they take on the Miami Marlins on Saturday, August 29th at 4:05 p.m. Buy tickets on the synod website for just $32/person, and our members will meet up in the same section at the game!

Aug 30: Family Education Welcome Back Bash

Summer is winding down, and it’s time to get the whole crew back together! Join us on August 30th right after worship at 11:30 AM for our Family Education Welcome Back Bash. We’re celebrating with plenty of pizza and good vibes for all ages. Come catch up, hug your friends, and party on!

Sept 12: WELCA Book Club

The WELCA Book Club will meet on Saturday, September 12th, in our Fellowship Hall. Breakfast buffet will start at 9 AM with book discussion to follow. Our book for September is "The Miniaturist" by Jessie Burton. It is an enchanting, beautiful and suspenseful novel set in 1686. Eighteen-year-old Nella Oortman arrives in Amsterdam to begin her marriage to a much older man, Johannes Brandt, an important merchant trader who gives Nella an elaborate dollhouse version of her new home. As she discovers the origin of its furnishings, she learns her husband’s dangerous secret. It’s a story of love and obsession, betrayal and retribution, appearance and truth. If you are planning to attend or have questions please contact office@holytrinityfallschurch.org.

Sept 26: Food for Others 5K & Fun Run

Ready to hit the ground running in the fight against hunger? Instead of our usual Octoberfest Fun Run at Holy Trinity, we will be participating in the Food for Others 5K & Fun Run on Saturday, September 26th at the PenFed Plaza at Tysons Corner Center. Sign up today to run or volunteer!
