Dec 13: WELCA Book Club
WELCA Book Club will meet on Saturday, Dec. 13th, in Fellowship Hall for breakfast at 9AM with book discussion to follow. "Authentically Izzy," by Pepper Basham is about a wannabe bookstore owner waiting for Prince Charming to sweep her off her sneakered feet. When she falls for a man an ocean away, will their bond be enough to overcome the distance? To attend or ask questions, contact the office.
Dec 14: Adult Bible Study
The adults of the congregation meet for Bible Study at 8:45 AM every Sunday morning. This fall, our focus will be on the Gospel of John. All are welcome!
Dec 14: Family Education Hour
Our next in-person Sunday School (Family Education Hour) will be on Sunday, December 14th, at 11:30 AM. We will be providing age-specific activities and lessons, along with music. Coffee will be provided for the adults. Stay after Family Education Hour on December 14th if your family would like to be involved in our Christmas Pageant! View the full schedule on our website.
Dec 14: Advent Quiet
The Christmas season is noisy - there's a never-ending alarm in our heads reminding us of the next thing. Advent invites us to slow down and listen for the calm voice of God. It calls us to be still, reflect and pray. Take time to spiritually prepare for the coming of our Lord at an hour-long quiet event in the sanctuary on December 14th at 4pm.
Dec 24: Christmas Eve Worship
Join us on Christmas Eve either in person or from the comfort of your home to celebrate the greatest gift of all - Jesus! We will be hosting a family-friendly carol and glowstick service at 4 PM, followed by a traditional candlelight worship service at 7 PM and 9 PM. If you plan to join us from home, prepare a candle to light with us in celebration!
Dec 29: Faith Outside the Box
Faith outside the Box will meet by ZOOM on Monday, December 29, at 7:00 pm to conclude our discussion of “What Christianity is Not; an Exercise in ‘Negative Theology’” by Douglas John Hall. For more information and the Zoom link, please contact the office.
