The renewal program focal points of food and fellowship meanHoly Trinity members have opportunities to join in special summer activities that will strengthen relationships with fellow members and create unique memorable experiences for personal renewal. Our summer congregational gatherings are listed below. Please RSVP for each activity you plan to attend to help us make meal arrangements.
Frying Pan Park-A-Looza: Saturday, June 26, 9am-1:30pm
Holy Trinity has reserved the large picnic shelter (seats 180) to provide members a home base while they enjoy the park amenities and have a catered lunch together. Lunch will be individually packaged. There is also a large grassy area behind the pavilion where families could spread out for a picnic if they prefer. (Unvaccinated attendees over age 2 will be required to be masked in the picnic shelter except when eating/drinking; fully vaccinated attendees can choose whether to wear masks when not eating.) Frying Pan Park offers the opportunity for field games, a 1920s carousel and playground area, farm animal visits, trail hikes, and historic buildings. Read about family fun at the park here. Lunch in the Vineyard with Shuttle Option: Saturday, July 17, 11:30am-2:30pm
Holy Trinity has reserved the Paradise Winery Vineyard Picnic Grove and a shuttle bus that can get most attendees there and back, nice and easy. The reserved space is open to the sky and includes 8 picnic tables that can accommodate 50 and a staffed outdoor wine bar. Lunch and a variety of libations will be provided for all to enjoy during this adult-oriented event. Mask will be optional for fully vaccinated attendees but required for others except while eating/drinking. The shuttle bus will leave from Holy trinity at 11am sharp and reservations to ride the shuttle will be first come, first served.
Lake Fairfax Water Mine & Family Swimmin’ Hole: Saturday, August 14, 11-2pm (Date and Time Now Confirmed)
Holy Trinity has arranged for up to 44 adults and kids to enjoy free admission to the Lake Fairfax Park Water Mine and Family Swimmin’ Hole and a provided box lunch for an afternoon of water park fun. We have reserved 10 picnic tables under two large “Funbrellas” (adjacent to each other) to provide shade and a nice place to eat the box lunches. RSVP to have your name/your family members' names added to the guest list (limited to 5 tickets per family). First come, first served on reservations up to the Reservation Deadline of Sunday, August 8th.
